Dialog (wizard) with two steps:

1) 
what kind of archive should be created? (rar/zip/etc)
options --> what compression level? multi-part? encrypted?

Next:
2) where should ark place it and what name (now, the type of the archive is set!)

Finish:
3) not step really, archive is created

:-D FineX you just removed info what feature this report is about.

It is about creating NEW archive.

A wizard would definitely help new users who aren't used to archives.

Changing the default assignee in the currently open Ark bug reports to me.

We now have the new CreateDialog so closing as wontfix.
