Description Aru Sahni 2008-04-07 08:12:38 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.2.3 (Ubuntu 4.2.3-2ubuntu7)
OS: Linux

Hi,
I just upgraded to kde4 and got Kopete 0.50.1 to go along with it. After adding all my accounts, I discovered that, for some reason, the contact list isn't reading my contact nicknames for gmail. That is, instead of seeing "Tux Penguin" on my list, I see "tux_dapenguin02@gmail.com" (without quotes). This seems like a regression, as both Pidgin and the older version of Kopete (0.12.*) respect the contact nicknames.

Thanks!
