Version: 1.4.8 (using 3.5.9, Debian Package 4:3.5.9.dfsg.1-2 (lenny/sid)) Compiler: Target: x86_64-linux-gnu OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.24-1-amd64 When you select MTP as device, you can only transcode to mp3. But MTP devices can also play ogg files. I would be good to have the same configuration options for MTP device as for a Generic Audio Player.
Already fixed
What do you mean, in 1.4.8 version?
SVN or 1.4.9 I guess. Coming soon.
Not all MTP devices can play OGG files...anyways, if that feature doesn't already exist in the 1.4 series, it won't be added. Feature freeze on 1.4. 2.0 will have it, if someone codes it in...feel free to help...
At least on 1.4.9 it is not fixed : I justed tested. I reopen as it was a WISH. Even if currently no one wish to works on it, maybe one day?
Bump versoin to 2.0-SVN
Well, this would require transkode being ported to 2.0 first...
Changing version. Any news on transkode?
This is implemented now.
