Description Jens Lang 2008-03-26 11:47:27 UTC
Version: 4.5.8 (using 3.5.8, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.8-0ubuntu3.3)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-14-generic

I am using Kwrite of Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon (version 3.5.8-0ubuntu2). Since I installed Kopete from http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-kde-3.5.9/ (including libs kdelibs4c2a and kdelibs4-dev, version 3.5.9-0ubuntu1) the following bug bothers me:

Move the cursor to the beginning of a line. Press ⇧ + ↓ (Shift + arrow down) ⇒ this line including the "end of line" is selected. Press Ctrl + C, Home, Ctrl + V ⇒ cursor is at the end of the pasted line but should be at the beginning of the next line ("\n" is omitted during paste), at least that is what it was like before the update (and what I am used to).
