It would be nice to have a way to discover existing runners, to see a list of them, what they offer, to which syntax they would answer (for instance in KDE 3 there was a way to discover available ioslaves in kcontrol)

This is almost addressed with the config dialog: we know which krunners exist and this is really nice. 

I wish they will give more information on syntax.
