Version: (using KDE 3.5.8) Installed from: SuSE RPMs Currently no matter what I am doing in Konsole -- just looking at dir content, copying files, or doing some computation -- it is always simple task to close the tab. Thus this wish -- user would set tab as protected, and when later user would like (intentionally or by accident) close such tab Konsole would display warning that tab that is about to close is protected one -- "do you want to close tab x?". I don't know if it is technically possible to add automatic pattern for auto-protecting (if yes, I will add another wish-report) -- like, if program A is running protect tab automatically. Or if program A is running and screen looks like this (for example MC copying files) then auto-protect.
I think this might be a duplicate of an existing report but I cannot locate it at the moment.
Looks there are 2 wishes for this feature: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97680 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=134581
The second one is a bit different, but not the first one. So it is (this report) a duplicate of: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97680
