Version: (using KDE 3.5.9KDE 1.2KDE 1.2) Installed from: UnspecifiedUnspecifiedUnspecified Compiler: any OS: I Don't Know looking at http://docs.kde.org/stable/en/kdebase-workspace/kdm/theme-format.html , the only way to choose desktop envinronment seems to use id="session_button", which beleaves as a list. I need a single button for each available session. May it be possible to add this kind of feature?
sure somebody could just reproduce gdm's feature. this doesn't scale particularly well with 30 installed session types, though. also, i find gdm's approach hacky and have no idea how to make it nicer.
With sddm as new default, does this with still apply today?
(In reply to Gregor Mi from comment #2) > With sddm as new default, does this with still apply today? :) ten years was lost up today... now, I think sddm is able to delegate this feature to the qml designer.
Yes, digging up some history :). Can this kdm ticket be closed then?
Regardless, SDDM bugs are tracked at https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues/
