I like to request XEP-0116 for Kopete as an alternative to OpenPGP and OTR.
Gajim will support it in v0.12 and it would be a good idea if Gajim, Pidgin, Psi and Kopete (at least the biggest IMs) would support it.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
