Version: v0.5 (using 3.5.7 "release 72.6" , openSUSE 10.3) Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22.17-0.1-default Upon checking the KDiskFree listing of hard drive, it reads 74.0 GB but is only a 40GB disk; however the total still free (33GB) is correct. When click on "visible", nothing happens. When click the tab "Mount Commands", nothing happens. When click the check box "open file manager automatically", box remains unchecked. When click a row of a device, get no option for mount or unmount. For completeness should mention that recently put in a bug report on SeaMonkey, and some of SeaMonkey's problems seemed to slightly spillover to other elements (one time, on first log-in after major SeaMonkey glitch -- now using Firefox with no problems -- got message: Error KDesktop "The process for the file protocol died unexpectedly". Possibly there is a connection, but new to Linux and can't be sure; also can't mount my machine integral floppy: mount -t vfat /dev/fd0 /media/floppy (or /dev/floppy or /mnt/floppy etc.) gets "mount point doesn't exist"; may be separate issue, can't tell.
I fixed some aspects by installing KDE: KDE4: STABLE. Has new layout, but the "visible" click works, etc., but overall GB listing still double what it could possibly be, and have "new"? (hadn't used before) problem with all video dvds which won't play under any format or maximal inclusion of codecs & add-ons. Upon a recent update, got message in permanent bar at bottom panel of "Warning KDE Desktop" (no additional clarification). Did finally get floppy open by using command line and first creating the mount point. Sorry no one has any similar problem for comparison & insight.
