Version: 0.8.5 (using KDE 3.5.7) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux wish to open more than one kaffeine window at once. This is perfect for showing MS Windows user the power of Linux when you have 4-5 kaffeine windows open playing differnt movies at the same time with no problem on a standard PC-system. I could do that with notun-player on Suse 10.2. Now same PC but Suse 10.3 and only one kaffeine window is possible to open at once. Also can not finde anything to set this feature.
kaffeine --nofork
(In reply to comment #1) > kaffeine --nofork > will there be a button in kaffeine to make this function available for people that do not want to use the commandline or adding this '--nofork' as a startup option? Thanks, M. Wegener
This bug is too old, for a version < 1.3. Closing it, as the latest version is 2.0.1, and lots of things changed since version 1.2.x, including the usage of VLC as video display backend, support for DVB-T2 and ISDB-T via libVLC, etc. You may check on the upstream version and see if the bug was solved. The README file contains instructions about how to compile it. You can find it at our git repository: https://quickgit.kde.org/?p=kaffeine.git If you find similar issues with version 2.0.1, please re-open.
