Version: (using KDE 3.5.8) How pause/play works now --------- | ----------- - means 1 second of playback, | means pause. Let's say such option as overlap exists and user set it to 2000 miliseconds. Then: --------- | ----------- in other words, user will hear/see again those 2 seconds of footage. Purpose? Just an example: preparing subtitles, correcting them, making a transcription of video/audio footage.
This bug is too old, for a version < 1.3. Closing it, as the latest version is 2.0.1, and lots of things changed since version 1.2.x, including the usage of VLC as video display backend, support for DVB-T2 and ISDB-T via libVLC, etc. You may check on the upstream version and see if the bug was solved. The README file contains instructions about how to compile it.
