Version:            (using KDE 4.0.1)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
OS:                Linux

If I change the language of KDE and click on Apply, it displays the window "Uptating system configuration" and that process does not finish for minutes. If I cancel it, the language of applications is not changed.

i can confirm that, kde 4.0.67 under windows xp, kcmshell4 language

Still a problem under KDE 4.1.0 on archlinux.

It has been fixed on trunk some months ago.
