Version: (using Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources When I want to minimize all windows with the "minimize all" plasma widget I have to click twice on the icon in the panel to have it working. I hope this is reproducible by someone else.
i'm not even aware that this applet existed. neat. where did you get it from? or does someone know where it exists so that i could look at it?
aha, it's in playground and it's Petri's. yes, this applet does seem buggy (but it is in playground, after all ;) ... reassigning to the owner of it.
I wanted something similar that 'show desktop' was in KDE3. Named it to minimize-all so it don't get mixed to 'show desktop' in KDE4. It uses NETRootInfo.setShowingDesktop() to minimize windows, so it only works (?) with kwin. It works nicely in my desktop though.
I would also use the show desktop applet if it wouldn't hide the task bar. A user who switches from Windows to KDE will expect the show desktop button to work like on Windows.
Fixed down status resetting, works for me.
If it's FIXED, then close it as such, _not_ as WORKSFORME. Temporarly reopening.
Proper resolution, according to comment #5.
