Version: (using KDE 3.5.9) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux This issue/wish has been reported in Ubuntu's Launchpad of which I will copy here. https://launchpad.net/bugs/135035 I do not know at this time if this is still the issue in KDEPIM from SVN. till confirmed this on IRC in #kontact @ 20:13 UTC on 2008-02-24. ------------------------------------------ INITIAL REPORT -------------- Binary package hint: kmail I have Russian IMAP directory on MS Exchange 2003, but can't try to connect to it, because only En-Ger-Fr-Dutch languages are available, and I can't manually specify the folder names for Calendar, Tasks, Notes. It could work like in Identity management - let user specify folders. ----------------- FOLLOW UP REPORT ----------------- Yes, I have Hardy and it still has only four languages. Sorry, I was unclear. Teh idea is that in KMail setup, Misc-Groupware-IMAP resource folder, there are only 4 options for directory language. It would be way better to choose specific folders for Calendar, Notes, Resources etc.
I'm using kmail 1.11.3 on kde 4.2.3 and I have problems with the language selection for the imap groupware resources too. The language selection field for that is greyed out but set to english on all 3 testing boxes. I created my groupware folders on a kubuntu install with (iirc) kde 4.2.2. kmail was set to german and the groupware folder language was english. When I tried to enable the groupware folders on my other 2 boxes the groupware dialog tells me that it wants to create the groupware folders too but uses german folder names. kmail was set to german and the groupware folder language would have been created on german too while the setup dialog was set to english but greyed out - I couldn't set it to any other language. Now I have 2 boxes trying to access the groupware folders on german and 1 box trying to access the folders on english and I see no way to change this by GUI. I renamed the folders for testing. That worked fine. It would really be a good idea if you could simply define the folders for calendar, notes, and so on.
