Description atlantis 2008-02-23 21:51:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Open Kate. Enter a few lines. Mark the lines to copy them, i.e., press ctl-c. Paste the lines at the end of the file, i.e., put the cursor at the end of the file, and press ctl-v to paste. ***Now, after the pasting, the cursor is at the end of the first line that has been pasted instead of on a new line after the last line that has been pasted***. I assume this bug is something very small in the code, but the usability of kate is significantly impacted as simple copy and paste does not work normally any more.

Thanks for your help. KDE is great, I use it since years professionally.

This is fixed (see #158069). Distributions should provide updated packages.
