Version: (using Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources OS: Linux Please add some sort of visual feedback as a popup so that you can see the status of stuck keys. I have just spent 3 days wondering why all my applications are behaving strangely. I mean something which always appears on top of the screen rather than the initial warning about sticky keys being activated.
What do you mean with "sticky keys" ?
System Settings -> Accessibility -> Modifier keys It would be nice if there could be a small icon in the corner of the screen when the key is stuck.
Not exactly an indicator, but it is possible to configure a notification message for Plasma: System Settings -> Accessibility -> Modifier keys Enable Use Plasma's notification mechanism for modifier or locking key state changes Click Configure Notifications and make sure the "A modifier key has been locked" notification has a Show a message in a popup enabled (should be by default).

Git commit 3d22217681bd412ab93204409017fe528cea4df1 by Nicolas Fella. Committed on 04/11/2024 at 13:33. Pushed by nicolasfella into branch 'master'. [applets/keyboardindicator] Show when modifiers are latched/locked This indicates whether modifiers are latched/locked when using sticky keys in an unobtrusive manner This is useful to know which state the keys are in, which is important when using them to avoid surprises and mistyping Related: bug 444335 M +61 -4 applets/keyboardindicator/contents/ui/main.qml https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kdeplasma-addons/-/commit/3d22217681bd412ab93204409017fe528cea4df1
