Description Steffen Zahn 2008-02-16 12:54:52 UTC
Version: 0.9.3 (using KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

I find that it should be allowed to have tags that contain slash characters "/", at least if the complete tag is enclosed in double quotes "". I use some tags on flickr that contain slashes and it would be helpful if I can use the identical tags on digiKam because these will then be uploaded automatically with the image by the flickr uploader plugin. If you wonder the tag in question is "Tamron SP AF 90mm F/2.8 Di MACRO 1:1", these are standardized tags to find pictures taken with certain lenses globally on flickr, the slash character cannot be simply replaced by something else.

Slash is used internally to describe tag hierarchies in metadata...
