Description andrewroth@gmail.com 2008-02-12 09:16:07 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

Yes, I know this was a feature at one point, and it was decided to remove it (http://docs.kde.org/kde3/en/kdebase/faq/panel.html#id2552742)

But, I just wanted to let you guys know that this is a show stopper for me. I will likely move to another window manager if this option isn't put in. It also makes sense with more people switching from windows -- why not make the few core shortcuts that the majority of windows users use work by default: start menu -> Popup start menu, start menu + R -> Run, start menu + D -> Desktop. (That's just from observing my windows users friends).

A key as both a modifier and regular shortcut simply does not work, sorry.
