Version:           krita-kde4 1.9.96.0~svn757194 (using KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages
OS:                Linux

** Note: please update the KDE version selection to include 4.0.1 **

When you start Krita-KDE4 and select "File" -> "Open" and try to open a standard .JPG file Krita Krashes. This is with KDE 4.0.1 on Kubuntu Gutsy. Here is the backtrace...
