it seems something in the taskbar is using a kde colour instead of a plasma colour. when I use the 'midnight meadow' colours, this is very visible and (imho) ugly. see http://chani.ccdevnet.org/sshots/taskbar-ugly-clipped.png
the screenshot is old, but it still shows up in current svn.

There are two problems here:
the border color is ugly (since plasma has a separate color theme i think colors from qt/kde color schemes should be never ever used)
and the border is painted with wrong coordinates/size

i'll try to make a little patch in a moment
