Description Torsten Krah 2008-01-29 12:56:09 UTC
Version: Version 1.9.6 (enterprise 0.20070907.709405) (using KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

This bug add support for displaying Face Headers.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=109836

It would be nice if kmail could not only generate a X-Faces Header (as it does fine already), but also a Faces Header.

Well, you can add an header in the composer tab with name "Face" and value the base64 encoded PNG image.
but kmail will add the string "=?utf-8?q?" t oeach line so it won't work
Can we insert a RAW header without having kmail to escape it?

Cheers,
Matteo

Tried that before reporting this wish.
It would work, however i don't want to have the same face header over all configured accounts.
So this solution wont help either.

Look at the identity settings of KMail, there is a "Picture" tab.
Comment 4 Torsten Krah 2008-02-05 15:39:43 UTC
Yeah, that the X-Face Header - not the Face Header.
Comment 5 Thomas McGuire 2008-02-05 15:46:06 UTC
Oh, I did't realize that there is a Face header as well.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.
Comment 7 Luigi Toscano 2012-08-19 00:22:49 UTC
Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
Comment 8 Torsten Krah 2012-08-20 06:58:08 UTC
