Description Shaumyadeep Chaudhuri 2008-01-23 15:19:27 UTC
Version: 0.50.0 (using 4.00.00 (KDE 4.0.0), Gentoo)
Compiler: i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.23-kamikaze5

When i configure and try to login to my google-talk account nothing happens.
It just sits there saying connecting in the status for sometime and then goes back offline.
No error messages are shown.
Repeated attempts to login or reconfigure and then login are usesless and have no effect.

What connection settings (server, port, ssl, etc...) are you using?

I can connect fine using ssl, allowing clear-text passwords and talk.google.com	at port 5223.
