Description warior 2008-01-23 12:37:21 UTC
Version: kopete-4.0.0-r1 (using KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 4.1.2 (not sure)
OS: Linux

I know that this bug has already been resolved and I hope you will read it until the end, before moving it away :)
So I can't add any account because it's complaining about missing libraries... for example: "Cannot load the ICQ protocol plugin"

I tried removing /var/tmp/kdecache-$USER/ksycoca4stamp /var/tmp/kdecache-$USER/ksycoca4 , then logout and logout, but it didn't help. Then I tried kbuildsycoca4 --noincremental, then restart kopete, but still the same error.

hope this should be helpfull

Fixed in SVN already for KDE 4.0.1.

reopening until we can confirm fixed.

So it was successfully build from kopete svn... Now I can add accounts, but I didn't find how to fix the problem in reported version. Never mind, problem is now solved.
