Description Andrew Orel 2008-01-23 05:34:19 UTC
Version: 2.1 Cruiser (using KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package
OS: Linux

After Adept obtains all the updates, and installation begins, it crashes with the dialog message that it could not commit the changes (updates) because either there was a problem with the download (doubtful) or the changes would break packages. This is with a clean new install of Kubuntu 7.10.
I need to install Kdevelop, so it would be helpful to have this working.

Are you sure it is not related to this problem: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=220858 ?

I know quite a few Kubuntu 7.10 installs that it occured for during update of packages.

This seems to a duplicate of Bug 153684 (or reversed).
Comment 3 Peter Rockai 2008-03-09 14:53:27 UTC
