Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
Compiler:          x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc 4.1.1 amd64
OS:                Linux

In System Settings->Desktop->Screen Saver, choose a screen saver like "Lorenz Atractor" or "Polygons". Its preview does not have a black background; instead it is some screen capture or just garbage. The same happens to its "test" and the actual saver execution.

Some screenshots are on their way.
