Winamp have a cool feature you can choose if the app will
show as a normal app on start menu or will dock as a dockable item (like icq).
When using some programs every day you came up without the need of it being show on open apps programs like xmms
and icq with have or can have already a dock icon don't
have to show on open apps the same way knotes don't show the notes open.
My sugestion is: add a feature on kwin/kicker so as you can choose always on top choose "show window on open apps" "show window on dock" or "don't show window at all".
This will free some space on open apps space and is a thing I really think is cool.
