Description Daniel Andre Eikeland 2008-01-17 12:50:16 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

I've set up my fingerprint reader according to the procedure in thinkwiki:
http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/How_to_enable_the_fingerprint_reader_with_ThinkFinger

It's working with GDM, and gksudo, and recognizes my fingerprint.

However, as soon as I swipe my finger successfully in kdesu, it freezes, and does not allow me to re-enter my password, or tries to validate my fingerprint.

Is anyone looking at this?

this isn't strictly a duplicate at the end-user level, but it has the same root cause and would be fixed in the same go.
