Version: (using KDE 4.0.0) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages simple problem as discribed in the short description ( sorry i'm reporting it for kdesktop but the wizard did not have a plasma option ) there is a strange quirk though, if you go to fix it ( i.e. reset your background ) with the configure desktop it "sometimes" doesn't work unless you click apply first. sorry but i can't recreate the ok not working every time but every time i start kde i have a blank white background
There is no kdesktop and kicker in KDE 4, but plasma.
Already reported (I don't remember the bug number) and already fixed :-) You will se it corrected on next release :-)
