Description Fabian 2008-01-14 17:51:39 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

It would be very nice to have a cover flow (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cover_flow) similar to in Apple's finder (http://www.apple.com/de/macosx/features/finder.html) as a View Mode.

This is a great idea with a lot of support, as evidenced by the high vote count at KDE forums, and stands much more of a chance of being implementable now that we're reached 4.3.

Thanks for your suggestion but I don't intend to implement this in Dolphin as Apple has patented cover-flow. However if there are alternative ideas how to do present scrolling through large previews in a comfortable way that does not conflict with cover-flow I'm open to consider them.
