Description Simon Oosthoek 2008-01-13 19:28:46 UTC
Version: 0.9.3 (using KDE 3.5.8, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.8-0ubuntu3.1)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-14-generic

I use filenames with of the format "album-YMd-HMS.jpg". However when using digikam to batch-rename the files, I can't turn off the option to add a sequence number at the end of it.

I don't see why this couldn't be a part of the format string, or at least an optional feature.

BTW, I tried this from the tag view selection and digikam got confused about the renamed images, they were not updated in the view, even after refreshing (f5).

Cheers

Simon

Agreed - this would be a useful enhancement. Is this actually a Digikam issue, or should it be under Kipi-plugins?

Implemented in digiKam Advanced rename tool.
