Version: 0.9.2-final (using KDE 3.5.7, compiled sources) Compiler: Target: i586-mandriva-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22.12-desktop-1mdv My camera is well connected. i go to the camera menu for selecting my canon powershot S3IS (displayed in list), doesn t work. but if i go to the detecting menu and i do the automatic detect (in french) then everything is OK.
Sound like a gphoto2 Canon driver problem... Marcus, your viewpoint ? Gilles Caulier
hmm, its in the ptp2 driver, but it is there. There is no special handling for this camera, if it does notwork, 100s others would not either... I suspect that some magic in digikam does not handle it correctly on second attachment in the Camera Menu. Do you store both name/path pairs?
Marcus, ok , i will take a look indeep... Gilles
