Description paul_lee 2008-01-06 22:18:45 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.97.0)
Compiler: gcc version 4.2.3 20071123 (prerelease) (Debian 4.2.2-4)
OS: Linux

Three days ago I was able :) to chat in Invisible state using msn protocol, with a friend in on line state. Now, after update, when I try to do it, a dialog appears saying more or less:
This user is not reachable at the moment. Be sure to be connected and you're using a protocol that supports sending offline or wait until the user returns on line.

Can you still reproduce using the new MSN implementation (you can test using current trunk) ?
Comment 2 Johannes Wienke 2009-02-19 17:24:55 UTC
I can confirm this bug. I'm not able to chat to an MSN user if I am invisible.
Comment 3 Johannes Wienke 2009-02-19 17:27:19 UTC
Forgot to mention that I'm using kopete 0.70.0.

The bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=257999 talks about the same, is it a duplicate?

Hi there, sorry for the bad news, but MSN has been discontinued, so I will be closing this bug.

Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone!
