Version:           1.9.7 (using KDE 3.5.6, compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.4.6 [FreeBSD] 20060305
OS:                FreeBSD (amd64) release 6.3-PRERELEASE

It should be possible to change /the same/ account from IMAP to disconnected (caching) IMAP and back without deleting one account and creating another.

Whether a particular IMAP account is caching or not can be specified by a single checkbox.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
