Description thad.humphries 2007-12-27 02:44:11 UTC
Version: 1.13 (using KDE 3.5.7 "release 72.4" , openSUSE 10.3)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22.13-0.3-default

I inserted the disc and opened it in Amarok. A CDDB entry was created at ~/.xine/cddbcache

KAudioCreator was set to check cache but would repeatedly come back that no CDDB entry was found. Only when I set it to open from cache and remote did it finally find an entry via remote. Also, while Amarok found freedb.freedb.org at port 8880, KAudioCreator could only find it at port 80.

I cannot provide any information on this. I switched to macOS from Linux machine in over 5 years ago too many bad experiences with KDE and openSUSE.
