Comment 1 Edward Karavakis 2007-12-14 14:19:19 UTC
Another crash: When i select Settings | Configure Kopete... and then click on the Appearance tab Kopete crashes...
Comment 2 Edward Karavakis 2007-12-14 15:01:25 UTC
solution:
# rpm -e kdenetwork kdenetwork-debuginfo kdenetwork-libs kdenetwork-devel kdenetwork-extras --nodeps

# yum install kdenetwork kdenetwork-debuginfo kdenetwork-libs kdenetwork-devel kdenetwork-extras

# debuginfo-install kdenetwork

it is working now...no crashes whatsoever! (Bug 152204: kopete crashes when using the r5u870 module is not fixed or though! no webcam for me!) don't know what was the problem... fun fun fun!

There must have been an update or something. it was probably because of an emoticon in a person's name
Comment 6 FiNeX 2008-06-28 18:11:59 UTC
@Edward: are you still having crash logging with msn and gtalk? You should try KDE 3.5.9.
Comment 7 FiNeX 2008-11-19 12:22:26 UTC
Closing due to:
1) absence of feedback since 5 months
2) no crash reported on 3.5.10.
