Version:           3.0 (using KDE KDE 3.96.0)
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages
OS:                Linux

Those two desktop effects fail to work after some time. I need to restart them by re-selecting them in the "Configure Windows Behavior" Dialog. The error seems to occur when I'm using irssi inside of a screen inside konsole-kde4, but i don't know if this is the trigger for the misbehavior.

i forgot to mention that those are the RC2 packages. (there was no RC2 option when reporting the bug)

This bug happens sometimes. Can't figure out cause of this. Ctrl + F10 and no cursor on windows. Need to choose windows with mouse. Search box not working. On Kubuntu 21.04 I never experienced such bug.

Alt + F2 => kwin --replace helps. Also disabled "Allow applications to block compositing" in Compositor. Will see how it goes...

There is no need to use Alt + F2 => kwin --replace, because Alt + Tab renews work of Present Windows:
1. Present Windows stopped working.
2. Alt + Tab, choose app window with arrows.
3. Ctrl + F9 / Ctrl + F10 and Present Windows works.

This bug is 15 (!) years old! Obviously you aren't having the same issue as the issue is poorly described anyway. Please open a new bug report if you have an issue with KDE Plasma 5 (this bug is for KDE Plasma 3.0, a version from like 2007).
