Description German Monfort 2007-12-04 11:06:54 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

If you have two or more gvim instances open and you block (or you already have blocked) global shortcuts on the app. the global shortcuts are blocked only for the first instance opened.

How to reproduce:
---
1) Open gvim.

2) Block global shortcuts for the application using the context menu that shows up when you right click the title bar.
(right-click gvim's title bar -> Advanced -> Special application Settings -> Workarounds -> check Block global Shortcuts (choose Force and check the unlabeled checkmark)

3) Open another instance of gvim.

4) Press a global shortcut (like C-TAB)
---
If you check again the settings for the application (by right clicking the title bar), you'll see that "Block global shortcuts" is enabled but not working.
Click the OK button, Cancel button or just close the settings window and you'll get the global shortcuts blocked! ... but just for the second instance, now the first instance doesn't have the shortcuts blocked.
