Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Compiler: gcc version 4.1.2 (Ubuntu 4.1.2-0ubuntu4) Configured with: ../src/configure -v --enable-languages=c,c++,fortran,objc,obj-c++,treelang --prefix=/usr --enable-shared --with-system-zlib --libexecdir=/usr/lib --without-included-gettext --enable-threads=posix --enable-nls --program-suffix=-4.1 --enable-__cxa_atexit --enable-clocale=gnu --enable-libstdcxx-debug --enable-mpfr --enable-checking=release x86_64-linux-gnu OS: Linux Open a few windows - firefox, thunderbird, etc. Click show desktop The desktop is shown. Click Show desktop again KDE crashes, all window title bars are removed, the main task bars vanish (although a second panel at the top of my screen was still visible. Also, Yakuake seemed to have closed.) What should happen: All minimized windows are shown again.
Can you please provide a backtrace of the crash, like written in http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports ? Thanks.
