Hi,
it's a quite difficult to reproduce bug, but i have been experiencing it since a long time back when i was using gentoo, and still now with kubuntu and kde 3.5.8.

It seems to be like the bug 38365 "kicker disappears under heavy load" i experience it also when the system is choppy or when i'm switching desktop with lot's of windows opened and in the same time trying to use the panel bar, i can't get the exact combinaison reproducing it with certainty.

But mainly : I use autohide kicker panel, and sometimes i can't unhide it by moving my mouse at the bottom of the screen, to get it back i throw kcontrol, go to panel options, there strangely the position setting is to bottom left corner, i set it back to bottom center, set apply and it shows again.

quite irritating bug, especially when i didn't know the trick to get it back.
