Version: 3.96.1 (KDE 4.0 >= 20071120) (using KDE 3.96.1 (KDE 4.0 >= 20071120), compiled sources) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.22.12-0.1-default If I bookmark a site with title: "CNN.com - Breaking News, U.S., World, Weather, Entertainment & Video News" with strg+b, I can see the bookmark tab with title: "CNN.com - Breakingnment _Video News" see attachment for more.
Created attachment 22231 [details] screenshot
I can reproduce it with 4.0.71
some months later also in 4.1.1 :)
Reproduced in 4.2.0 as well.
confirmed with kde4.3 beta1
I do not get "CNN.com - Breakingnment _Video News", but rather "CNN.com - Breaking...nment _Video News" which is a bit different. However, I agree that center squeezing the title is not a good idea for bookmarks. It should squeeze at the end and even then it should at least be a bit more intelligent about it.
