Version: 0.7 (using KDE 3.5.5 "release 45" , openSUSE 10.2) Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18.2-34-bigsmp Two wishes: 1. It would be great if a save as dialog was optionaly opened automaticaly after the capture was done, with the great autoname feature already implemented, so taking many snapshots would simply be a matter of take snapshot (save dialog opens), press enter, take next one (save dialog opens) press enter... 2. On that same note, set options to automatically save the next n screenshots. Set a filename pattern (e.g. /my/path/myCaptures#.png) and then start capturing, using a hotkey to capture when ready. -Start capture mode -go to my window, press hotkey to capture -go to another window press hotkey to capture etc ... -Nth time, capture -Stop capture mode. Images are saved according to pattern, optionally open path when done. Maybe show a little camera overlay each time the capture was done so we know something is happening. Thankyou.
This two features could be useful! :-)
and a good features : if ksnapshot could remember previuous size & position of last screenshot When i write a tutorial, i need to take the same screenshot of the same windows at the same position. It could be easier if ksnapshot remember last position. Bonus: autosave
Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years and I will be closing this bug. Spectacle is the replacement for ksnapshot now. Please test again and file a new bug for Spectacle if you still have issues. Thank you!
