Version: 1.2.7 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc 4.2.2 OS: Linux Although the RSS Standard, does not have a facility for marking edited messages, numerous sited do edit messages, without changing the gid (which they shouldn't). These edits don't show up in Akregator, since an article with the same gid already exists in the archive. This is strictly speaking a Problem of the RSS standard. Whoever a workaround would be nice. As an idea maybe make an md5 hash of the RSS 'item' stored localy and compare it with the hash of the item in the feed on update, if a gid is already in the archive.
