Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.8) Installed from: Mandriva RPMs I have not found a way to change the font size of the subtitle in Kaffeine. I think this should be made easy to do for the user. When using a big LCD-TV, the subtitle is just too small.
You can. Assuming you're using xine, not gstreamer, you can get to it by settings -> xine engine parameters -> subtitles. Not sure if it should be easier to find or not, but it *is* possible to change the size.
Ok, found it now. But it's not too intuitive, I think. I would like to be able to change the font size directly from the context menu (right click on the video). The way I see it, "xine engine parameters" should only needed to be touched be experts, but changing subtitles size is something most people should easily be able to do.
This bug is too old, for a version < 1.3. Closing it, as the latest version is 2.0.1, and lots of things changed since version 1.2.x, including the usage of VLC as video display backend, support for DVB-T2 and ISDB-T via libVLC, etc. You may check on the upstream version and see if the bug was solved. The README file contains instructions about how to compile it. You can find it at our git repository: https://quickgit.kde.org/?p=kaffeine.git If you find similar issues with version 2.0.1, please re-open.
