Description Dave Garrett 2007-11-25 07:24:33 UTC
Version: 0.8.5 (using KDE 3.5.7, compiled sources)
Compiler: Target: i586-mandriva-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22.9-desktop586-2mdv

With view -> "keep original aspect" enabled, the Kaffeine window can be resized without properly adjusting the size/positioning of it's components. See attached screenshots.

See bug 115292. There's not much info listed there, and it's a couple years old and marked resolved. It might be an old version of the same issue, or it might be something different.

This bug is too old, for a version < 1.3. Closing it, as the latest version is 2.0.1, and lots of things changed since version 1.2.x, including the usage of VLC as video display backend, support for DVB-T2 and ISDB-T via libVLC, etc.

You may check on the upstream version and see if the bug was solved. The README file contains instructions about how to compile it. You can find it at our git repository:

https://quickgit.kde.org/?p=kaffeine.git

If you find similar issues with version 2.0.1, please re-open.
