Hi,

you have a navigation panel, there is an option "Home folder", when clicking
i get an error:
>An error occurred while loading file:///$HOME:
>The file or folder $HOME does not exist.

I made new folder ( configure navigation panel -> add new -> folder) that should display a content of my home folder.
In a (properties -> URL) tab i wrote a path to my home folder: /home/kde4/
and now i got an error:
An error occurred while loading file://$home/:
Could not start process Unable to create io-slave:
 klauncher said: Unknown protocol 'smb'.

If I make a link to other directory (e.g. /media/ ) in a URL tab all works correctly.

I believe this has been fixed (at least I don't see this behaviour anymore in KDE 4.1).

Jakub: could you please confirm that this bug can be closed?
