Description Thorsten Staerk 2007-11-18 14:38:06 UTC
Version: 4 (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux

As discussed with David two years ago, the data model of karm is insufficient. E.g. if you work 5 minutes on task A on monday, start a new session on tuesday and work 5 minutes on task A on wednesday. If you discover that it were 6 minutes and change the times using file|edit history, your session time must be incorrect.

I plan to

(a) use an event with the customProperty sessionTimeStart to indicate "calendar-wide" when the last session started
(b) do this after the release of KDE 4, as it would make things too unstable atm.

Closing all KDE 3 bugs.
Comment 6 Thorsten Staerk 2011-10-03 07:38:42 UTC
I want to have a task "startsession" with X-KDE-KTIMETRACKER-startsession as special attribute that stores when a session started. This way we will in the far future be able to have multiple sessions.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I will be closing this bug.
