Description Bohan 2007-11-12 02:28:28 UTC
Version: 3.5.8-5.fc8 (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.1.2 20070925 (Red Hat 4.1.2-33)
OS: Linux

Description of problem:

buttons on some web sites do not work in konqueror

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

3.5.8-5

How reproducible:

Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to https://premier.ticketek.com.au/membership/login.aspx in konqueror
2. Fill in a random username and password
3. Click "Go" button

Actual results:

No response.

Expected results:

Navigates to a page indicating incorrect username/password.

Additional info:

Works in firefox, IE (under Wine), Opera, Epiphany, Netscape and Lynx.
This is not the only web site with the problem, there are many more.

Some sites don't even load (www.netbank.com.au), but that is a different issue
involving a missing weak cypher algorithm in konqueror 3.3+ that is still supported by the mainstream browsers.

You'll need to identify as an another browser for it to work. They're using a version of the (ASP.NET?) framework that sends us a completely broken webpage, which is missing the JavaScript function used to submit the form.

Confirmed, works when identifying as Firefox 1.0.7.
Thank you, will be more careful next time before filling bugs.
