Description Tobias Niwi 2007-11-09 21:07:14 UTC
Version: 3.5.7 (using KDE 3.5.8, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.8-0ubuntu1~feisty1)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-15-generic

I would like to use a ics-file on my password-protected ftp-server. Unfortunatly KOrganizer...
1. ...doesn't doesn't has an option for configuration of password and user name for external files
2. ...doesn't ask for password and user name
3. ...doesn't use the kwalled-saved options from Konqueror.

Actually KOrganizer doesn't even show an error message, althrough it failes to open the ics-file which is configurated as default ressource.

Reason why I would like to have this feature:
I would like to use my kalendar on sereral computers. Since I don't want to share my dates, all computers have internet access and I don't use any of the computers at the same time, a ics-file at a ftp-server would seem to be the easiest way.

I guess this wish can be closed as akonadi is able to use the kio_ftp slave.
