Description Maciej Pilichowski 2007-10-30 12:38:34 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I believe it is a regression (if not please switch it to wish).

Anyway, let's say you have mail from "joe.doe@gmail.com".

No problem searching for "joe.doe" (via quick search). But if the sender uses such identity (from field):
Joe Doe <joe.doe@gmail.com>

you cannot search for "joe.doe" any longer because KMail sees only "Joe Doe" part as a sender.

I believe this is bug 99094. The from column does not display the e-mail address, so it is not searched.

Thomas, you are right, thank you.
