It is no point in having two different UI for the almost the same thing -- they should be unified and move dialog is a better one:
a) easier to navigate
b) can have keyboard shortcut
c) ability to remember the last target

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
